Due to continued growth within our service and reconditioning departments, we are seeking a hands-on General Hand / Detailer to join our team at Acacia Ridge.
About the Role
This is a varied, practical role suited to someone who enjoys working with vehicles and takes pride in high standards. You’ll play an important part in ensuring vehicles are presented to a professional standard and customers receive an excellent experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning service customer vehicles inside and out
- Daily cleaning of demonstrator vehicles
- Washing and preparing vehicles for the reconditioning process
- Removing aftermarket accessories, spare tyres and tool kits for storage
- Customer vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups
- Final quality checks after work has been completed
- Taking vehicle photos as required
- General cleaning and light maintenance duties
- Deliveries and collections as required
- Supporting the service team as a reliable all-rounder
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic, along with:
- A current manual driver’s licence (MR or HR licence advantageous but not essential)
- Previous experience working with vehicles (preferred)
- High attention to detail and pride in presentation
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional manner
- Confidence using basic hand tools
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Your own reliable transport
